My past is a goldmine of information that I use to become better, stronger, smarter, and more capable. I use the past to my advantage, so my present is different than my past. I learn from the past and work in the present toward my future.
The past gives clues on how my previous actions affect my life now. I avoid making the same mistakes and relish the successes I gain from the lessons of my past.
My past mistakes are just sitting there for me to examine. So, too, are my past victories. I spend time in reflection to learn from them both and apply that information to my future.
Each experience that I learn from makes me more powerful.
The present is where I live my life. I learn from the past but avoid reliving it. If I live in the past, I cease to live. Life can only be lived in the present.
I make the most of each day. The lessons I learn from the past are applied to make my life better and more successful. From the past, I can learn what works, what makes me happy, and how to be fulfilled.
I get a little bit better at living life each day. These small improvements continue to build day after day.
Today, I take the lessons from my past and use them to create a more fulfilling present and future. I make the most of my previous failures, mistakes, and successes. I learn from my past experiences.
