“If I could sum up why I’m committed to the HR Girlfriends community it would come down to because we are ‘….in this together.'”

~Sana’ Rasul, Chief Girlfriend

Affirmation: I do my best without regard for reward.

I always perform to the best of my ability and strive to go beyond what I must do to simply get the job done correctly. I attribute my immense success to my unbeatable work ethic!

I am proud to say that I have job security even in this shaky economic time. In fact, I feel confident that a promotion or raise is coming my way very soon!

This is because my priority is to do the best job I possibly can. As anyone, I would love to be rewarded for my efforts with more than just a standard paycheck, but being rewarded is secondary to fulfilling my duties as an employee.

Because I am a detail-oriented person, my work is always above the predetermined standard. I am secure in my performance and I am well aware that my employer appreciates my hard work!

I have a competition against myself to exceed my performance of days past. I know that I can do better than the day before.

I believe that my strong work ethic, undeniable skills, and focus while working are some of my strongest assets. Any employer would be lucky to have me on their team!

Today, I am selfless in my work. Simply knowing that I do my job to the best of my ability is enough of a reward for me!

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How can I exceed the expectations of my employer each day?
2. Am I truly content with simply doing the bare minimum?
3. What ways can I get more satisfaction from doing my job well?
