Increase your HR knowledge with on-demand HR training all year long

When you open up your email inbox every Wednesday you get a trending HR topic.

If all you do is just read these every week, you’re already adding knowledge and expertise to your professional HR hat.

When you’re ready to take that knowledge to the next level, log into the HR Girlfriend’s member portal and access the HR Support Center. This is your one-stop resource for all HR-related workplace information.

This is the most comprehensive, and easy-to-use, suite of online tools and resources to help you manage your HR compliance and employee relationship issues

This month we’ll be highlighting different resources contained inside the HR Support Center (and reminding you of the benefits of upgrading to HR On Demand). If you haven’t checked it out recently, you can access your portal by clicking here.

Members often remark on how easy to Support Center is to use.

For example, if you’re looking for resources on hiring, you could look under Topics to see all the options related to hiring broken out by category. But if you’re just looking for a checklist, you could also head directly to the Checklists under the Documents tab and pick which one you want to use. No more searching through lists of “related” terms with no organization or structure like some other HR sites. And, if you don’t want to search at all, when you upgrade to HR On Demand you get unlimited access to our HR Pros who deliver direct answers to your questions.

5 tabs, infinite possibilities

The TOPICS tab has a dozen of the most searched for topics listed.  But you can also create your own topic by entering a unique HR word or term in the search bar. Those search results are clearly divided by category so you can quickly identify exactly what you are looking for.

The LAWS tab is where you’ll find the targeted information for each state. HR Girlfriends who work for multi-state organizations love how simple it is to see which laws apply to which states. Plus, you can filter results based on number of employees (which our HR Department of One members use all the time!).

It can be challenging to stay up-to-date on all the new Employment Laws, HR best practices, and trending topics. Inside the LEARNING tab, you’ll find multiple ways to add more knowledge and gain experience with different topics. No matter which way you prefer to consume your training, there’s a perfect option for you.

2-minute HR: Turn on a quick video and get great HR basics, tips, and best practices. For example, check out the Magic Formula for Documentation. Even when the topics are something you already know, it’s a quick, timely reminder to share with others in your workplace.

☕ If you love learning via video trainings, you could pick a new topic every week and watch full-length trainings on over 62 different HR topics with on-demand training. If you’re looking to become an expert in a new area of human resources or just want to brush up on a specialty, this is a great way to getting the education you need.

☕ If you prefer reading while you learn, take a look at the Articles, Infographics, and News Desk. Plus, the very popular Q&A Stream where you can peek behind the curtain at recent questions our HR Pros have gotten and see how they answered. One of the HR Girlfriends we spoke to recently mentioned how much she enjoys learning through these Q&As…and by reading through them, she learns answers to questions she didn’t know to ask. Plus she feels confident she’ll have a ready answer to questions she gets (or she’ll know where to go to find the answer).

☕ And for those auditory learners, a hidden gem inside the Learning tab is the HR Cast where you can listen to the monthly HR podcast and learn on-the-go with the mobile app.

Every HR Professional needs the right tools to support her in the workplace. Inside the TOOLS category, you’ll find resources like the Employee Handbook Wizard – whether you’re starting from scratch or updating your handbook, this self-guided Wizard tool makes it easy to complete. And, when you upgrade to HR On Demand, you can get your handbook reviewed or written by one of the HR Pros.

You’ll also find the libraries here for Job Descriptions and Policies.

Plus helpful calculators, minimum wage map, service hub, and even the HR Fitness Test where you can take an assessment to see which area of HR should be your next learning focus.

Checklists, forms, guides, and letters can all be found in the DOCUMENTS tab. These written documents work hand-in-hand with the policies (under TOOLS) to save you time and energy every day. Whether you’re looking for support to keep you on track with your own tasks or looking for ways to support your workplace, the documents have helped hundreds of our HR Girlfriends members no matter what level in the organization they’re working in.

Get Unlimited, Personalized Support
(and save hundreds of hours of time every year)

How would it feel to just pick up the phone and get your questions answered instead of searching through site after site?

No more dealing with unorganized databases of information to get exactly what you need.

No more trying to write a new policy while the phone is ringing, your email notifications are pinging, and your coworkers are interrupting you with employee horror stories.

No more anxiety that you may have missed a specific regulation or new law that you should be applying to the latest update you’re making.

Quit Googling and Just Get The Answer!

That’s what you can get when you upgrade to HR On Demand.

In addition to the HR Support Center you’ve come to know and love, you also get:
