Career Monday: I Am Blessed In The Work That I Do

It is natural to view work as a chore, but I view it as an outlet for expression. I am thankful for my work, so I give it my all.

There is a special place in my heart for the people who hire me. It feels good to be seen as a feeling human being instead of a robot to complete a task. I know that my feelings and comfort are important to them.

It is a blessing to have people who consider my comfort even in work.

In return for their graciousness, my mantra is to always produce work of a high quality. When I am guided by that, excellent results are automatic.

I get rewarded when I produce according to the details of the assignment. My job is easier because my employers provide me with clear directives.

I know that my work transforms the lives of others. Although the recipients of my effort are strangers to me, I feel proud to offer them something beneficial.

Knowing that I am in control of such a powerful tool is scary but empowering. I allow my soul and morals to guide me in my work. My output is designed to bless others as much as it blesses me.

Today, I smile each time I sit at my desk to start working because it brings me joy. Being able to do something that I love for work is a wonderful feeling. Today is always a good time to lift up those who bless me with this opportunity.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What signals indicate that my work is taking more from me than it is giving?
2. How do I adjust when I am feeling mentally unprepared for work?
3. In which other aspects of my life do I receive regular blessings?
