The experiences in life are as varied and numerous as the stars in the sky. Each situation intrigues me because it provides a lesson to be learned.
Thrilling experiences teach me how to be calm in the midst of excitement. It is easy to be distracted when I get caught up in the wonder of a moment. I focus on the source of my blessings whenever I find myself getting overly sidetracked.
Positive situations teach me the value of living a moral and honest life. When I avoid corruption, I experience wonderful rewards.
My work environment tests my reserve but I remain committed to what I believe is respectable and decent. I reject proposals that oppose my values and principles. I am unimpressed by material gain as a result of wrongdoing.
When I am doubtful about my potential, I stop to question why I feel that way. Taking the time to analyze it brings me to a point of self-belief. These experiences remind me to always keep my head held high.
Today, I appreciate each situation that life throws my way. Very rarely do I take things for face value only. I am focused on digging deep into the meaning of my experiences so I am able to learn many lessons from them.
