“If I could sum up why I’m committed to the HR Girlfriends community it would come down to because we are ‘….in this together.'”

Affirmation: My strength releases the darkness of doubt from my life

There is a sense of power that comes from believing in myself. I use that awareness to push away any doubt from my life. I am enlightened. My outlook is rational and well-informed. There is little room for negativity.

The doubt that others show in my ability is meant to weaken me, but I refuse to let it.

When I try out for a part in a play, I go into it for the richness of the experience. Although being chosen is exciting, I create art for the process instead of the outcome.

Inability to win a competition casts little doubt on my prowess as a talented person. Sometimes it takes patience to find the role that is made for me. I accept that compatibility is the glue that connects me to opportunity.

It takes willpower to keep going during difficult times, and I am strong. As I put one foot in front of the other, I feel myself pushing through the challenge.

Positive self-talk keeps me motivated, even when I feel unsure about a path that I am on. I continue to push through. Believing in my gut instincts is important. I trust myself completely.

Today, my strength comes from belief in my own abilities. I know that I have what it takes to win. That confidences inspires me to shut out the doubt and focus on persevering until victory is mine.

Self-Reflection Questions:
1. How confident am I in my ability to learn a new skill?
2. How does doubt manifest itself when I give it room in my consciousness?
3. How often do I reassure myself that I am enough?
