I have a clear vision written down in a place I can see every day. Reading my vision statement on a daily basis encourages me to persevere. When I look at my goals I ask myself what I can do today to come one step closer to accomplishing them.
Constantly reflecting on my purpose helps me keep my actions focused on the big picture. Whether or not I achieve my calling in life rests on my steadfast determination to act responsibly every single day.
Faithfully performing my mundane daily tasks creates great success for me. Accomplishment is something I must work for daily. Even after I have achieved a level of success, I continue to work hard to maintain it and improve on it.
My habits can either promote my vision or hinder it. Each day I make the choice to excel in the small things in order to position myself on the path of greatness.
I resolve to form habits that are beneficial to my overall goals. When I see someone who is successful at something I want to master, I observe their life and imitate some of their positive habits.
I am determined to cut out of my life any practice that wastes time and holds me back. No matter how long I have performed a behavior, the strength to retrain my brain is found within me.
Today, I choose to take an inventory of my habits and only keep those that benefit me. Through the power of self-control, I eradicate useless practices from my life and use my time and energy for more positive behaviors.
