Affirmation: Listening To Others Helps Me Develop Wisdom

Each chance I get to listen to another person is an opportunity to learn something new. I am attentive to the thoughts and ideas of others around me.

I avoid shunning the expressions of my subordinates. When I am leading a meeting, I am patient with everyone. Allowing them to share their thoughts oftentimes teaches me something valuable.

At times, I am unsure of the best decision to make. I rely on those with worthwhile experience to help guide my steps.

My ability to make wise decisions is tied to how much I learn from others. My own ideas are developed from things I see and hear. I sometimes see the worth in implementing someone else’s idea instead of mine.

The words of children sometimes remind me to break down complex challenges. The simplicity of their thoughts helps me to find answers in plain sight.

Relationships can be demanding. When I get emotional, I avoid making decisions. I rely on the clear-headed wisdom of my friends. Their sincere advice guides me to solutions for any relationship challenge.

I use past experiences to help me make better future choices. Although the past is behind me, I am sure to rely on the lessons learned.

Today, I am humbled by the wisdom of others. I look forward to their guidance in all aspects of my life. I know that their assistance helps me to become a wiser and more confident decision-maker.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What do I do when I realize that someone is trying to misguide me?
2. How do I know when to rely on my own wisdom instead of somebody else’s?
3. How can I develop more confidence in my decisions?
