Affirmation: I Speak Words That Heal Instead of Hurt

I am mindful in my thoughts, words, and actions. I choose to spend my time on the here and now. It is the only time that I have control over, so I make good use of it. I do that by choosing to be responsible for the things that I do and say.

Self-talk is healing when I focus on speaking positive affirmations to myself. I have a healthy image of myself because I highlight my strengths.

I know that how I treat myself also reflects on how I treat others.

Being kind to myself makes me a kind person to those around me. It is reflected in how I deal with them. I commit to having others leave my presence in a healthier state of mind than before.

Encouragement gives others the power to act according to their potential.

My children are sometimes disobedient, but I avoid highlighting their slip-ups. I give them an opportunity to use their wisdom to identify their own misdeeds.

Taking this approach allows others to develop a healthy appreciation of themselves. I accept that each person has a right to their own awakenings, so I empower them.

I regularly give thanks to others. Showing appreciation is a good way to shower them with positivity.

Today, my mouth is a vessel for healing. I speak words that inspire others and give them the strength to persevere. I am happy to do my part in building morale and confidence in myself and others.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. What are some of my favorite healing words?
  2. What advice do I give to someone who is facing emotional turmoil?
  3. What are some affirmations that I can repeat to myself each morning?
