“If I could sum up why I’m committed to the HR Girlfriends community it would come down to because we are ‘….in this together.'”

Affirmation: I speak positive things into being

My life is filled with endless blessings because I embrace affirmative thinking and intentionally bring goodness my way. Believing that I am destined for greatness is half the battle.

When I express that belief continuously, I feel motivated to put plans in place. I am energetic in my efforts because I know the results are based on my input. I avoid worrying about the outcome of challenging situations.

Each day I set expectations for positivity. I know that putting out good vibes into the world results in them coming back to me.

When my kids are studying for exams, I encourage them to have calm spirits. Letting go of worry helps them to open their minds to learn. I use those special moments to tell them that success is theirs for the taking.

I take the same approach with the goals I set for myself. Even when I am nervous about a speech, I tell myself that I have the confidence to do a great job. That helps me to block out my doubts and fears.

Today, I am committed to reaffirming how worthy I am of the good things in life. I know that I open myself to great things when I maintain such a positive mindset. I bring many successes to fruition by speaking them into being.

Self-Reflection Questions:
1. What are some of the self-motivating things I say when I need encouragement?
2. How is my confidence impacted when I am unable to achieve a goal?
3. How helpful is positive thinking when external factors seem overbearing?
