I work at strengthening my networking skills nearly every day. I believe that expanding the number of people I interact with is a smart thing to do. A larger network is an advantage in both my business and personal lives.
Because I know more people, I can call on others when I confront challenges and need a helping hand.
Also, when I require knowledge in a particular area, I always have someone in my network that I can call for assistance.
Upon encountering new people in my day, I work diligently to get to know them. I strike up a conversation and share some of my own personal story with them. Invariably, we exchange business cards or cell phone numbers and then we’re off to a great start.
I know I accomplish something when I expand my network. It makes me feel more positive about my life and work.
As each day goes by, I learn more about how to network effectively. The more I network, the more skilled I become at building my circle of friends and business associates.
Today, I know I can increase my network. I try to consistently add new acquaintances to my list of personal and professional connections. Communicating with new people invigorates me and helps me to be more knowledgeable, efficient, and successful.
