Each day I come face to face with new goals. Having things to work towards keeps me focused. When I am encouraged to persevere, I gain more desire to keep going.
My family members are very supportive. They remind me of my strengths and convince me that I am able to tackle whatever I set my mind to.
Having such encouragement prevents me from giving up. Knowing that my loved ones believe in me motivates me to prove them right. I like going after goals that make them as proud of me as I am of myself.
Financial benefits serve as sound incentive at work. When my employer rewards my efforts with a huge bonus, naturally I get excited.
It is a wonderful feeling to have my hard work acknowledged. Knowing that it rarely goes unnoticed lights the fire within me to put my diligence on display. It is great to work for an employer who recognizes my input and worth.
Relationships are sometimes difficult, but I nurture the ones that are special to me. I am encouraged when the other party shows interest in maintaining our bond. Having sincere friends is beneficial to my soul.
Today, my mind is open to challenges because there are true sources of encouragement around me. I am thankful for my many sources of support.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Where does my encouragement come from?
2. How much does self-motivation assist when I could do with an extra push?
3. How willing am I to keep going when my input receives very little acknowledgement?
